Op done, recovery..

Well it's been 3 weeks since my operation and I'm slowly starting to feel a little better. I've had issues with my stomach cramping and my bowels which is understandable with the new way of feeding. Whilst in hospital the staff at Sir Charles Gardner were fantastic in caring for me and educating my family in the peg feeds for when I got home. I have been a little bit of a hermit over the last couple of weeks and hopefully get out and see a few people soon.

Last weekend the kids and I took off for a couple of nights down at Treendale respite for a break we managed to get down to Margaret River for the day and was awesome to breathe in the sea air. It was good to have a little bit of a road trip and a few laughs.

It's come up fast but this Saturday is the MND Awareness rugby league game. I'll be getting the game underway with the coin toss, all the boys will be wearing MND socks. There will be raffles and donation tins and all funds raised will be given to MNDAWA.  Kick off 5.30pm and I hope to see a few of you there.
