Awareness Week, more League

The first week of May was huge for MND Associations across the country in raising funds & spreading awareness. I hope you all viewed my story through MND Australia's website & got a glimpse of my life using some of the services available through MNDAWA.

The 'Walk to D'Feet MND' was hugely successful too raising over $90,000 for sufferers like me & my sister Erika was the highest individual fundraiser receiving $4000 for her organised walk in Narabeen NSW. Such a top effort, well done Sis!

Other news.. Tony Spence from Joondalup Giants has raised $3000 already for our MND League Game in July & we haven't even kicked off yet!! A big thank you to Regis Resources for their kind donation. Still with League, last week the boys & I went to see the Rabbitohs take on The Storm in pretty wet conditions at NIB Stadium. Good close game with a few tries & some big hits!! loved it.

I picked up my suit the other week for my daughter's wedding in June. Michelle & David have done well in organising everything for the big day which promises to be a special time for everyone there. I'm planning to rip up the dance floor with my wheels so everybody watch your toes!
