The Final Chapter: Celebrating a life well lived
Got some bad news members unfortunately...about a week after Trevsfest I had a bad turn in the morning at home when I suddenly couldn't breathe and was gasping for air. I told my Carer Sharon to call an ambulance as this was like nothing I'd ever felt before and tried to keep calm. Within the hour I was in hospital undergoing tests until it was revealed I had lung failure due to my MND and poor neurones that are weakening all my muscles, and it was now effecting my respiratory system . There is no way to sugarcoat this but it's the final battle of a MND sufferer. I'm home now and on a breathing assist machine to help. I've already said my goodbyes to my kids and enjoying visits from close friends to see me through. Thanks again for your support. I hope I have left a little bit of a legacy or a handbook as a referral should anyone else you may know be diagnosed with this dreadful disease.

As we sit here and write dad's final blog, we look back on his inspiring life and remember the strong and incredible life we shared with him. This will be our dad's final blog, as he sadly lost his battle to MND on the 05/03/2018. Dad wants this website to shine his legacy forever. We would like to sincerely thank every single one of you for all the donations, the support and the love that has been received over the years. Dad and us kids could not have fought this battle without you members! We love you Dad, we will always remember the father you were and always will be. Rest In Paradise.
